How to Watch DVD films on iPad Mini 4/3

Here is the process for how to rip and copy DVD movies to your iPad Mini 4/3 to watch on a road trip.


Both the iPad Mini 4 and iPad Mini 3 has the same 7.9-inch, 2,048x1,536-pixel display. The display still looks great at all angles, with plenty of contrast, great color reproduction and all the IPS goodness you've come to expect. It's so cool to watch DVD movies on iPad Mini 4/3/2, especially when you're on a road trip. But we all know that iPad Mini 4/3 can't read DVD. First, a quick note: we know that there is still a lot of legal ambiguity around ripping content that you have legally purchased. Step 1. Add DVD files

Insert your DVD into your DVD-Rom. Then click the Load DVD button to import the DVD movies or click the drop-down menu of "File" button to add files to this DVD ripper.



Step 2. Choose the output format

Click "Profile" box and move mouse cursor to "Apple" category, select "iPad Mini 2" or "iPad Mini" as the output format, which will remove all the incompatibility issue for you.



Step 3. Start ripping DVD to iPad Mini

Once you ascertain that the conversion is successfully completed, you can import the file anywhere you wish to even in the media player as long as the file is iTunes friendly. First, locate the output file where you have saved the videos. Then open the iTunes app so that you can import the output videos to it. This can be done by dragging and dropping the media file. Additional Tips

Tips 1: If you want to view DVD on iPad Mini with subtitles, simply click Subtitles and select the one you prefer. You can also choose preferred audio track from the Audio drop-down lists.



Tips 2: If you like, you can click on settings you could easily set bitrate, frame rate, codec, channels, sample rate, etc to adjust parameters that affect video quality and file size for the video you prefer. keep in mind that bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss, and vice versa.
